Phase One: Reconnect and Build the Foundation - 9 Week Phase Welcome to Phase One of your journey to finding a way to manage and hopefully rid lower back pain. This phase is all about reconnecting with your body, getting in tune with your back, and laying the foundation for lasting strength and mobility. It’s the first step of a comprehensive three-phase program designed to guide you out of pain and onto the right track toward a healthier, pain-free life. This Phase is a standalone or available to add on to Training For Life fitness classes. In this phase, we focus on perfecting essential movements that will serve as the building blocks for your recovery. You’ll learn how to engage your core, stabilize your back, and move with confidence, using techniques that are both simple and highly effective. We’ll also dive into strategies to manage and alleviate pain, offering practical tools you can use daily to make immediate improvements. Whether your lower back pain stems from poor posture, muscle imbalances, or years of discomfort, this phase is carefully crafted to meet you where you are and set you up for long-term success as you are able to complete it at your own pace and movement ability. This phase is designed to be flexible and repeatable, giving you the time and space to master its principles before moving on to Phase Two. It’s important to meet the criteria and feel confident in your progress before advancing. In fact, all phases of the program can be performed multiple times, and repeating them is encouraged as part of a sustainable, long-term approach to recovery and back health. By the end of this phase, you’ll feel more connected to your body, more aware of how to move without fear of pain, and more confident in your ability to take control of your recovery.
